I am approved to provide services under the following fund streams:

I am registered with Medicare as a provider of Psychological Therapy Services

• Access to Better Mental Health Care Initiative:

If your GP writes you (or your baby/child) a Mental Health Care Plan you (or your baby/child) will receive a rebate for 6 initial sessions and then additional sessions if required (10 in total per calendar year).

• Non-Directive Pregnancy Counselling:

If you are a women who has been pregnant within the last 12 months and your GP (or obstetrician) writes you a referral you will receive a rebate for 3 sessions (per pregnancy).

• Private Health Insurance:

The rebate offered by private health insurers varies. Please contact your insurer for further information.

Please note: you cannot claim Medicare and private health rebates for the same consultation.

• You do not need a referral to see me:

If you are happy to pay for the full fee without a reimbursed rebate you do not need a referral from a health professional.

Payment

Full payment is required on the day of your appointment. I am able to immediately reimburse the Medicare or Private Health Fund rebate (if applicable) into your savings or cheque account on the spot as HICAPS electronic payment and Medicare Easyclaim facilities are available.


Please note: for Telehealth - Hanna will process your authorised payment via credit and then email your invoice so you can claim your rebate (if applicable).

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unexpected life events may interfere with your ability to attend your appointment. Last minute cancellations or non-attendance of a session could be a missed opportunity for another family to access support. Where possible please provide at least 24 hours notice if unable to attend your appointment. A fee may be charged if this notice is not provided. Please note: cancellation fees are not eligible for a Medicare rebate.
